Main Street Christmas Light Extravaganza 2020

The Sign Store is proud to sponsor the
2020 Main Street Christmas Light Extravaganza!

For the last several years, and with the effort of local patrons, businesses, and organizations, the Main Street Christmas Light Extravaganza has been a huge economic success to bring large quantities of shoppers to Macon, Georgia's downtown area during the end of the year holiday season.

This year, The Sign Store contributed as sign sponsor to the festivities, manufacturing and installing customized, temporary installations to display block sponsors, song sponsors, star sponsors, and other patrons and information.

For our block sponsor signs, we fabricated, prepped, and painted custom sign posts that can accommodate two sizes of banners for block sponsors and the featured events sponsor. These 16 and 20 foot tall poles are not only special for their size and visibility, but for the ground receptacles that Macon allowed us to install allowing for the poles to be removed after the event is finished, requiring only a cap to keep our receptacles clear of debris until their next use.

Our ground sponsor signs are also manufactured with changeable graphics in mind. Aluminum composite material with digitally printed graphics featuring event sponsors and contributors is attached to a rigid aluminum skeleton and pole structure. To tackle the problem of temporary installation, we mounted heavy, steal feet that work well for wind and tamper resistance.

Our final type of signage featured are our mobile LED message centers. Rising from within enclosed trailers using custom hydraulics, our LED message centers feature high resolution and motion graphics capabilities. Like our other LED message center products, they connect to a cloud-based management software over cellular signal allowing us to upload graphics and modify display properties from our office rather than from on-site, only.
